About the Westside of Los Angeles LCC Lee Rappaport
Hi! My name is Lee Rappaport and I am a Local Childcare Coordinator for Cultural Care Au Pair. I have a large group of AWESOME au pairs living with host families on the Westside of Los Angeles. I cover much of the L.A. Basin such as Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Bel Air and Beverly Hills. Hosting an au pair presents a unique take on international exchange, combined with childcare.
I got involved with international young adults about 4 1/2 years ago. I worked for another division of EF Education…their non-profit Homestay Program. I was responsible for finding volunteer host families for European teens who came to Los Angeles for a study/touring program during 4 weeks of their summer vacation. The Asian students spent 3 weeks of their winter vacation (during the Chinese New Year) soaking up our Southern Californian lifestyle. I learned many new customs and traditions from this global experience.
I like to keep busy by playing racquetball & horseback riding. I also enjoy participating in a monthly book club.
